Aluminum Tile Trim

Aluminum T-Shaped Tile Trim

NIUYUAN aluminum T-shaped tile trim covers joints between tile surfaces at the same level with a clean, flat metal line. The flat top face bridges the gap while the center leg sits down into the joint, so the profile stays straight and flush across floors and walls. Extruded from 6063/6463 aluminum alloy and finished by anodizing, powder coating, brushing or polishing, it gives distributors and project buyers a cost-controlled T profile in the colors their market already buys — with custom top widths and lengths developed from drawings.

Product Overview

Same-Level Transitions and Joint Covering in Lightweight Aluminum

A T-shaped profile does three jobs with one strip: it covers the open joint between two tiled areas, it bridges same-level transitions between tile and an adjoining floor finish, and it draws a deliberate decorative divider line across floors, walls and panels. The top face covers both sides of the joint while the center leg anchors the line in the gap, protecting the exposed joint edges underneath.

Aluminum is the volume choice for this profile. It is light to ship and easy to cut on site, and the anodized color range — silver, black, gold, champagne, bronze and grey — covers most commercial and residential palettes, with powder coating available where a RAL-matched or matte color is required. Every profile is extruded in our Foshan facility from 6063 or 6463 alloy; 6463 is the grade to discuss when a bright, polished decorative line is the point of the design. Standard lengths run 2.44–3.0 m, MOQ is 1,000 pieces per profile and finish, standard samples are ready in 7 days (custom samples 7–10 days), and bulk production runs 20–30 working days after sample approval.

Covers Joints Cleanly

The flat top face spans the gap between surfaces and sits flush, replacing an open grout joint with a straight metal line.

Same-Level Transitions

Made for the point where tile meets tile, wood, laminate, stone or vinyl at close to the same height and the joint needs a cover, not a step.

Color-Matched Aluminum

Anodized and powder-coated colors let the divider line match or deliberately contrast the tile — confirmed on a physical sample before bulk production.

Cost-Controlled Bulk Supply

Lightweight lengths and a 1,000-piece MOQ make aluminum the economical T profile for distributor stock programs and multi-room projects.

FAQ

Aluminum T-Shaped Tile Trim FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most from importers, distributors, and contractors sourcing aluminum T-shaped tile trim.

What is aluminum T-shaped tile trim used for?+
It covers joints and gaps between tile surfaces — or between tile and an adjoining finish — that sit at close to the same level. The flat top face bridges the joint and sits flush, while the center leg sits into the gap to hold the line straight, so one profile works as a transition cover, a joint cover and a decorative divider line.
How do I choose the top width and leg height?+
Start from the joint itself: the top face must fully cover the gap with a margin on both sides, and the center leg must suit the gap width and depth. Send us the gap width, the tile thickness and a drawing or photo if you have one, and we will confirm the profile dimensions in the quotation before samples are made.
What finishes are available?+
Anodized (silver, black, gold, champagne, bronze, grey), powder coated colors including RAL matching, brushed and polished effects, and wood grain. Confirm the finish on a physical sample before bulk production — the sample you approve is the standard production is checked against.
What is the MOQ and lead time?+
MOQ is 1,000 pieces per profile and finish. Standard samples are ready in 7 days and custom samples in 7–10 days; bulk production takes 20–30 working days after sample approval, depending on quantity and finish.
Can you customize the width, length or color?+
Yes. Custom top widths, leg heights and lengths are developed from drawings or samples, and colors can be matched against physical references. OEM packaging, private labels and project packing are supported.
How is the trim packed for export?+
Each profile is covered with protective film and packed in inner boxes and export cartons with shipping marks. Tell us your carton or private-label requirements when you enquire so packing is confirmed with the order, not after it.
