Solid Brass Tile Trim

Brass Round-Edge Tile Trim

NIUYUAN brass round-edge tile trim finishes exposed tile edges and outside corners with a curved, rounded face in H59 solid brass. Where a square profile gives a crisp architectural line, the round edge softens the corner: the tile arris is replaced by a smooth brass curve that reads as a deliberate, premium detail in bathrooms, hotel interiors, retail spaces and feature walls, while the solid profile protects the tile edge behind it. MOQ starts from 200 pieces, with available samples usually arranged within 7 days and custom samples in 7–10 days.

Brass round edge tile trim profiles

Product Overview

Brass round-edge tile trim is a solid brass edge-protection profile whose exposed face is a continuous rounded curve rather than a sharp corner. It is supplied in straight lengths with a perforated anchoring leg that beds into the tile adhesive, so the trim is mechanically locked behind the tile while the visible brass curve caps the edge. This round-edge geometry does two jobs at once: it shields the tile arris from chipping and impact, and it turns the corner itself into a finished design feature.

NIUYUAN extrudes the profile in H59 solid brass, a lead-free brass alloy selected for edge profiles because it machines cleanly, holds a crisp polished or brushed surface, and develops an even patina rather than pitting. The H59 round-edge profile is available in common leg heights from 6 mm to 12 mm to match standard tile thicknesses, and it can be supplied in brushed, polished, satin and antique finishes to coordinate with tapware, lighting and other brass detailing in the same room.

Compared with an aluminum round-edge trim, solid brass gives a denser, more substantial feel under the hand and a warmer colour depth that anodised or powder-coated aluminium cannot fully reproduce — which is why brass round-edge profiles are specified for premium residential bathrooms, boutique hotels and retail interiors where the corner detail is meant to be noticed. Compared with a brass square-edge trim from the same H59 range, the round edge reads softer and more traditional, making it a natural choice for classic and transitional interiors.

Finish Options

Four standard finishes cover most project palettes. All finishes are applied to the visible brass face; the anchoring leg is left unfinished since it is embedded in adhesive.

Brushed Brass

A fine linear grain that softens reflections and hides fingerprints, suited to high-traffic bathrooms and commercial washrooms.

Polished Brass

A mirror-bright surface for statement corners and feature walls where the trim is intended as a jewellery-like detail.

Satin Brass

A low-sheen finish between brushed and polished, chosen for contemporary interiors that want warmth without glare.

Antique Brass

A chemically darkened finish with relieved highlights, used in classic, heritage and hospitality interiors.

Applications

Round-edge brass trim is installed wherever a tiled outside corner or exposed edge should feel finished rather than merely protected. Typical uses include:

Typical Applications

  1. Bathroom outside corners: shower enclosures and tiled nib walls where a softened brass curve replaces a sharp tile arris.
  2. Hotel and hospitality interiors: lobby columns, vanity surrounds and corridor corners finished in brushed or antique brass.
  3. Kitchen splashback edges: exposed ends of tiled splashbacks capped with a rounded brass line.
  4. Retail and showroom feature walls: polished brass round-edge profiles framing display tiling.
  5. Stair nosing transitions: short runs where a rounded brass edge protects tile nosings while remaining comfortable underfoot.

Because the profile is solid brass throughout, cut ends can be polished and mitred corners can be finished to match the face, so long runs and corners keep a continuous appearance.

FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity for brass round-edge tile trim?

MOQ starts from 200 pieces for standard finishes and leg heights. Smaller trial quantities can be discussed for first orders; contact the sales team with your sizes and finish.

Which tile thickness does each leg height suit?

Choose a leg height equal to or slightly above your tile thickness so the rounded face sits flush with the tile surface: 6 mm legs for thin ceramic, 8–10 mm for standard porcelain, 12–12.5 mm for thick stone-look tiles. If you are unsure, send the tile specification with your RFQ.

Can I get samples before ordering?

Yes. Samples of available finishes are usually arranged within 7 days; custom finishes or heights take 7–10 days. Sample cost is deductible against the first bulk order in most cases.

Is the brass lead-free?

The H59 alloy used for this profile is lead-free and suitable for interior architectural use. RoHS-compliant material declarations can be provided on request.

How is the trim installed?

The perforated anchoring leg is pressed into the tile adhesive bed behind the tile, then the tile is set so its edge meets the back of the rounded face. No mechanical fasteners are needed; the adhesive locks the profile permanently.

Can the round-edge profile be used with underfloor heating or wet areas?

Yes. Solid brass is unaffected by normal bathroom humidity and temperature cycling, and the rounded face leaves no sharp edge to trap water. For steam rooms or chemical-exposure areas, confirm the finish choice with the sales team.
