Stainless Steel Tile Trim

Stainless Steel Round-Edge Tile Trim

NIUYUAN stainless steel round-edge tile trim finishes exposed tile edges with a curved, quadrant-style face instead of a sharp corner. The rounded profile softens the visible edge, protects outside corners from chips and knocks, and keeps the durability of stainless steel — in 304 for standard interiors or 316 where moisture and corrosion exposure are higher. It is the profile distributors reach for when a project needs a softer edge line that still reads as a clean, deliberate metal finish.

Product Overview

A Softer Stainless Edge for Exposed Corners

A square profile gives a crisp, architectural reveal; a round-edge profile does the opposite job. Its curved face takes the sharpness out of an exposed corner, which is why it is specified on outside wall corners, shower edges and countertop ends where people brush past the tilework. In stainless steel that soft geometry comes with a harder-wearing surface than aluminum or PVC, so the edge keeps its line in bathrooms, kitchens and commercial interiors.

Grade selection comes before size selection. Common heights are 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm, matched to tile thickness; common lengths are 2.44–3.0 m; and common thickness options are 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 mm. MOQ starts from 500 pieces, standard samples are usually ready within 7 days (custom samples 7–10 days), and bulk production usually runs 20–30 working days.

Curved, Quadrant-Style Face

The rounded visible face replaces the exposed tile arris with a smooth curve, softening corners and border lines.

304 or 316 Grade Choice

304 covers most indoor work; 316 is the option for wet, coastal or more demanding environments.

Corner and Edge Protection

The profile caps the vulnerable tile edge, shielding it from chipping at outside corners and exposed ends.

Finishes That Survive Wet Areas

Brushed, polished, satin, sandblasted and PVD options let the curved face match the rest of the stainless program.

Finish Options

Finish and Color Options for Stainless Steel Round-Edge Tile Trim

The curved face catches light differently from a flat one, so finish choice changes how visible the edge line is. Final availability is confirmed by grade, profile shape, order quantity and approved samples before bulk production, and repeat orders are checked against your sealed sample.

Brushed

A directional texture with reduced glare — the default direction for kitchens, bathrooms and commercial interiors where the edge should sit quietly against the tile.

Polished / Mirror

A bright, reflective surface for decorative edges and feature lines where the rounded profile is meant to be seen.

Satin / Hairline and Sandblasted

Softer, lower-reflection surfaces for projects that want the stainless look without a mirror shine.

PVD Colors

Gold, black, rose gold, champagne and bronze directions can be reviewed by sample, color reference, material grade and order quantity.

Applications

Where Stainless Steel Round-Edge Tile Trim Is Used

  1. Outside wall corners: softening and protecting external corners where two tiled planes meet.
  2. Shower walls and niches: finishing wet-area edges and niche borders, with the grade confirmed for the exposure.
  3. Kitchen and backsplash edges: closing backsplash endings and counter-adjacent tile edges with a clean curved line.
  4. Countertop edges: framing tiled countertop and worktop ends where a sharp arris would chip or feel harsh.
  5. Selected floor edges: finishing exposed floor tile edges and border lines where the profile shape and thickness are matched to the position.

FAQ

Stainless Steel Round-Edge Tile Trim FAQ

What is stainless steel round-edge tile trim used for?

It finishes exposed tile edges and outside corners with a curved visible face, protecting the tile edge from chipping while giving the corner a softer line than a square profile. It is used on outside corners, shower edges, backsplash endings, countertop edges and selected floor edges.

Should I choose 304 or 316 for a round-edge profile?

304 is the practical grade for most indoor bathrooms, kitchens, walls and commercial interiors. Choose 316 for wet, coastal or more demanding environments where stronger corrosion resistance is required. Stainless steel is more corrosion-resistant than many standard metals, but it should not be described as completely rust-proof in every environment — grade, exposure, cleaning chemicals and maintenance all play a part.

How do I choose the right height?

The trim height should usually match the tile thickness, with room for adhesive and installation tolerance. Send your tile thickness — or drawings, photos or a sample — so the height can be confirmed before quotation.

What visible face width, radius and anchoring leg sizes are available?

Those dimensions are confirmed profile by profile against your drawing or sample rather than taken from a fixed list: send the visible face, radius and anchoring leg dimensions you need, and we will review them with the height, thickness and finish before quoting. Custom sizes can be reviewed on the same basis.

What finishes are available?

Brushed, polished / mirror, satin / hairline, sandblasted / matte, and PVD color options such as gold, black, rose gold, champagne and bronze. Final availability is confirmed against samples, grade, quantity and profile shape.

What is the MOQ and lead time?

MOQ starts from 500 pieces for stainless steel tile trim, with the final figure varying by profile, finish, packaging and customization. Standard samples are usually ready within 7 days for available profile options and custom samples in 7–10 days; bulk production usually runs 20–30 working days.
