Aluminum Tile Trim

Aluminum Round-Edge Tile Trim

NIUYUAN aluminum round-edge tile trim finishes exposed tile edges and outside corners with a curved, rounded face in 6063/6463 aluminum alloy. Where a square profile gives a crisp architectural line, the round edge softens the corner: the tile arris is replaced by a smooth aluminum curve that protects the edge behind it and reads as a clean, deliberate finish in bathrooms, kitchens, hotels and commercial interiors. It is the volume round-edge option in our range — color and finish flexibility with cost control for bulk orders. MOQ starts from 1,000 pieces, with standard samples usually arranged within 7 days and custom samples in 7–10 days.

Aluminum round edge tile trim profiles

Product Overview

A Rounded Aluminum Curve for Exposed Corners

A round-edge profile is chosen where the corner stays exposed and is touched, brushed past or judged up close — outside wall corners, shower edges, niche borders, backsplash endings. Its curved face takes the sharpness out of that corner and covers the vulnerable tile edge in one line. In aluminum, that curve comes with the widest finish program in the trim range: anodized, brushed, polished and powder-coated directions, plus custom colors matched to an approved sample. The full aluminum family context is set out on our aluminum tile trim page, and the cross-material view of this profile family is on the round edge tile trim page.

Common heights are 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm, matched to tile thickness; common lengths are 2.44, 2.5, 2.7 and 3.0 m; and thickness runs 0.5–3.0 mm as a common reference range, with the final thickness confirmed according to profile shape, application, finish and order requirements. One point is worth stating up front: on a curved face, the finish sample you approve — its tone, brushing direction and surface character — is the reference bulk production is checked against, because light rolls across a curve and shows tone drift sooner than it does on a flat face.

Finish Options

Finish Options for Aluminum Round-Edge Tile Trim

On a curved face, light rolls across the profile instead of sitting on a flat plane, so tone and brushing direction read continuously along the corner. Brushing direction, color tone, gloss level and protective film should all be settled on the approved sample before bulk production, and repeat orders are checked against that same reference. Common color directions across our aluminum range include silver, black, gold, white, bronze, grey and champagne, with custom colors by sample.

Anodized

The standard aluminum finish route for round edge trim — a durable metallic surface in silver, champagne, bronze and related tones, and the volume choice for distributor programs.

Brushed

A directional texture that softens reflections on visible corners — suited to bathrooms, niches and commercial interiors that want a satin metal read.

Polished

A brighter, more reflective surface for feature corners and high-visibility details where the rounded edge is meant to be noticed.

Powder Coated

A solid-color route for matte and color-matched programs — black, white and custom colors where the trim has to sit inside a fixed interior palette.

Applications

Where Aluminum Round-Edge Tile Trim Is Used

  1. Outside wall corners: softening and protecting external corners where two tiled planes meet and the corner stays in view.
  2. Shower edges and bathroom niches: framing niches and finishing shower wall edges with a smooth rounded line.
  3. Kitchen backsplash endings: closing backsplash ends and counter-adjacent tile edges where the termination stays visible.
  4. Wall borders and feature walls: rounded decorative lines and panel borders on tiled walls in residential and commercial interiors.
  5. Hotel and commercial interiors: repeatable rounded edge details across rooms and floors, where one finish has to match across a full program.

FAQ

Aluminum Round-Edge Tile Trim FAQ

What is aluminum round-edge tile trim used for?

It finishes exposed tile edges and outside corners with a curved visible face, protecting the tile edge from chipping while giving the corner a softer line than a square profile. It is the standard choice where a rounded metal edge is needed at distributor volumes — bathrooms, kitchens, hotels and commercial interiors.

Why choose aluminum for a round edge instead of stainless steel or brass?

Aluminum gives the widest finish and color program and the most flexible cost control of the three metals, which suits multi-SKU distributor ranges and color-matched projects. Stainless steel suits harder-wearing or wet-area specifications and solid brass suits premium solid-metal programs; the round-edge shape itself is the same idea in each material.

Which finishes and colors are available?

Anodized, brushed, polished and powder coated finishes are the common routes, with common color directions including silver, black, gold, white, bronze, grey and champagne. Custom colors and finishes are reviewed against a sample or color reference, and final availability depends on profile, quantity and sample confirmation.

What sizes are available?

Common heights are 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm; common lengths are 2.44, 2.5, 2.7 and 3.0 m; and thickness references run 0.5–3.0 mm, with the final thickness confirmed by profile shape and application. Custom heights, lengths and thicknesses can be reviewed by drawing, sample and order requirements.

What visible face width, radius and anchoring leg widths are available?

Those dimensions are confirmed by round edge profile type against your drawing or sample rather than taken from a fixed list: send the face width and radius you need with the tile thickness, height and thickness, and we will review it before quoting.

What is the MOQ and lead time?

MOQ starts from 1,000 pieces for aluminum tile trim, with the final figure varying by profile, finish, color, packaging and customization. Standard samples are usually arranged within 7 days and custom samples in 7–10 days; bulk production usually runs 20–30 working days.
