If you are tiling in Australia — a bathroom renovation in Sydney, a kitchen splashback in Brisbane, or a commercial fit-out in Melbourne — and need edge trims, you have seven realistic supply routes: two Australian trim brands, four national retail chains, and one factory-direct OEM option from China. Every supplier below has a verifiable sales channel in Australia. This article is published by NIUYUAN Metal; our own factory entry is marked as our company, and its limitations are stated honestly.
How we put this list together
We applied one hard rule: a supplier only made the list if we could verify it actually sells tile trim in Australia — through its own website, a dealer network, or physical stores. Brands with real product lines but no verifiable Australian sales channel were left out (see “Why these big names didn’t make the list” below).
One finding shaped this list: we did not find a verified Australian manufacturer producing tile trim locally. The suppliers we reviewed operate mainly as importers, brand operators, wholesalers, or retailers. That is not a criticism — it is simply how the supply chain works here — but it matters if you are comparing “buy local stock” against “buy factory-direct.”
We checked each supplier on product range, materials (aluminium, stainless steel, brass, PVC), how Australians actually buy from them, and trade terms where published.
The 7 suppliers
1. DTA Australia — the local brand for trade stock
DTA Australia is an Australian tile-trim brand and wholesaler based in Chelsea Heights, Victoria. Its range covers the practical profiles tilers reach for every day: TRANSITION EDGE (3 m × 18 mm), PVC square-edge trim (2.5 m × 10 mm, white), RETRO FIT L-shape trim (3 m × 10/15 mm in bright silver and matt black), and aluminium L-angles including an 8 mm bright-gold option. Materials span aluminium, 304 stainless steel, brass, and PVC.
Australians buy DTA through its website (dta-aus.com.au, with a dealer login and store locator) and its dealer network — including Beaumont Tiles stores and trade retailers such as TradieCart.
Best for: local tilers and builders who want off-the-shelf stock, proper invoices, and local after-sales.
Honest limitation: the range is practical rather than designer-led, and DTA organises its supply after researching European and Asian markets — it is a local brand, not a local factory.
2. Amark Group (ALLTRIM) — the architectural stainless option
Amark Group, trading as ALLTRIM from North Silverwater, New South Wales, is the most design-led Australian trim supplier we verified. Its architectural range includes 304 stainless steel (brushed, mirror, and gold PVD finishes), anodised and powder-coated aluminium, brass, and PVC, across profiles such as Birdsmouth, L-angle, All-Quad, All-Curve, All-Channel, and Slimline. Its trims have been used in projects including the Sydney Airport T2 refurbishment and the Bank of China Sydney office.
Buy through amarkgroup.com.au (which has a dealer-store search by suburb or postcode) or trade resellers such as TradieCart.
Best for: commercial projects and architects who need stainless trims with a designer finish.
Honest limitation: positioning is mid- to high-end, so prices sit above practical brands like DTA; Amark states its products are sourced from trusted manufacturers, so it is a brand operator rather than a factory — MOQs and lead times go through its dealers.
3. Beaumont Tiles — the biggest tile retailer
Beaumont Tiles is Australia’s largest tile retailer, with 110+ stores, 60+ years of history, and Australian ownership under the Wesfarmers group. Its website lists 30+ tile-trim category pages, selling trims from brands including DTA alongside its tile ranges.
Buy in any of its 110+ stores or online at beaumont-tiles.com.au.
Best for: homeowners and renovators who want to see the trim in person and bundle it with their tile purchase.
Honest limitation: it is a retailer, not a manufacturer or brand owner — there is no OEM, no bulk customisation, and trade buyers get no factory-direct pricing advantage.

4. NIUYUAN Metal — our company: the factory-direct OEM option
NIUYUAN Metal is our own factory in Foshan, China — the publisher of this article. We manufacture aluminium trims (6063/6463), stainless steel trims (304/316), solid brass trims (H59), PVC trims, LED strip profiles, and accessories such as connectors and end caps. Our minimum order quantities are 1,000 pcs for aluminium, 500 pcs for stainless steel, 200 pcs for brass, and 2,000 pcs for PVC; samples take around 7 days and bulk orders 20–30 working days. OEM and custom packaging are supported.
Australian buyers purchase factory-direct through our website’s quote request. We hold no stock in Australia and have no Australian distributors.
Best for: Australian distributors and importers buying in volume, or anyone needing OEM/private-label and custom profiles.
Honest limitation: with no Australian stock, expect 20–30 working days of production plus sea freight; small or single-piece orders are uneconomical, and after-sales cannot match a local brand.
5. National Tiles — the south-east one-stop shop
Founded in 1979, National Tiles runs 40+ stores across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and regional Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, and Tasmania. Tile trim sits in its accessories range alongside its core tile and bathroom offer.
Best for: buyers in south-eastern Australia who want tiles and trims sorted in one trip.
Honest limitation: a pure retailer with no own-brand trim and no factory or OEM capability; store coverage is weakest in Western Australia.
6. Amber Tiles — the Sydney showroom experience
Amber Tiles has sold tiles, pavers, and stone for 50+ years through 24 showrooms concentrated in Sydney’s metro area and the ACT. Trims are stocked as part of its tile offer.
Best for: Sydney-area homeowners who value seeing products and getting design advice in a showroom.
Honest limitation: a regional retailer (essentially NSW/ACT only), not a national chain — and again, a seller rather than a maker, with no OEM programme.
7. Bunnings Warehouse — the widest coverage for top-ups
Bunnings needs little introduction: Australia’s largest hardware chain, also under Wesfarmers. Its website stocks practical trims including DTA’s 3.6 m aluminium multi-use trim, QEP aluminium round-edge trims (6 mm and 10 mm × 2.5 m), Dural Duracove, and the Roberts transition and trim range.
Buy in any store nationwide or online with Click & Collect and delivery.
Best for: DIYers and small jobs that need a trim today — nobody beats Bunnings on sheer store coverage.
Honest limitation: the range is DIY/retail-grade and practical; don’t expect designer stainless profiles, trade bulk pricing, or OEM services.
Why these big names didn’t make the list
Schluter-Systems. The global benchmark brand — but we could not verify any Australian sales channel: no subsidiary, no Australian website, no named distributors. Under our inclusion rule, it stays out. If your project specifies Schluter, you will most likely buy through a specialist importer.
Genesis (UK). A real aluminium and stainless trim line, but we found zero evidence of Australian distribution or sales.
Laticrete. Its Profiles & Trims range is real globally, but in Australia the business sells adhesives, grouts, and waterproofing — we found no evidence its trim line is sold here.
Leaving them out is deliberate: a list padded with brands Australians cannot actually buy would be less useful, not more.

How to choose a tile trim supplier in Australia
Match the metal to the environment. For coastal projects around Sydney, Brisbane, or Perth, 316 or 316L stainless steel resists salt-air corrosion far better than 304 — our 304 vs 316 vs 316L stainless steel guide breaks down exactly where each grade belongs. For dry interiors, anodised aluminium is the cost-effective default; see aluminium vs stainless steel for the full trade-off.
Weigh local stock against factory-direct. Local brands and retailers win on speed and returns; factory-direct wins on price at volume — but only once your order clears the MOQ and you can wait out production plus freight. There is no universally cheaper option; it depends on quantity.
Check the finish, not just the metal. On visible edges, anodising quality and colour consistency matter as much as the alloy. If you are comparing aluminium trims, ask for a physical sample before committing to a large order.
Size the trim to the tile. A common failure is a trim that sits proud or buried because nobody matched trim depth to tile thickness. Our tile trim size guide and profiles explained cover the sizing rules — useful whichever supplier you choose.
Distributors: think beyond the unit price. If you are importing for resale, MOQ, private-label/OEM support, and container-load efficiency decide the landed cost more than the per-piece price. Our tile trim buying guides hub collects the procurement-side explainers.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I buy tile trim in Australia?
Through local trim brands (DTA Australia, Amark/ALLTRIM), national tile retailers (Beaumont Tiles, National Tiles, Amber Tiles), hardware chains (Bunnings), or factory-direct from overseas manufacturers for volume orders. All seven options above have verifiable Australian sales channels.
Is it cheaper to import tile trim directly from China?
It depends on volume. For small quantities, local retail is usually cheaper once you count sea or air freight, customs clearance, and GST. Factory-direct becomes attractive at volume — but only above the factory’s MOQ (for example, 200 pcs for brass trims, 1,000 pcs for aluminium at our factory) and with 20–30 working days of production plus freight time factored in.
What stainless steel grade should I use for coastal or outdoor tiling in Australia?
316 or 316L. Salt air and pool environments corrode 304 stainless over time, while 316’s molybdenum content gives it markedly better pitting resistance. For full detail, see our 304 vs 316 vs 316L guide linked above.
Do Australian tile shops stock solid brass trims?
Some do, via local brands — DTA’s range includes brass trims, sold through retailers such as Beaumont Tiles. Solid brass is a premium, low-volume line, so availability varies by store; check stock before visiting.
How long does factory-direct shipping to Australia take?
Production first: around 20–30 working days for bulk orders at our factory (samples about 7 days). Sea freight to Australian ports is additional — ask for a door-to-door timeline in your quote request rather than assuming a number, since it varies by sailing schedules and destination port.
